2019 , 2nd February NABUCO Age Challenge - U11, U15, U19

The first half of the NABUCO Age Group Badminton Challenge came to an end at the Constant
Sprint Golf Club Badminton Hall on Saturday night producing two triple winners and three
double winners.

Seventeen year old Reigning National Women’s Singles Champion Tahlia Richardson was one
of the triple winners winning the U19 Girls Singles over fifteen year old Tahlellah Townsend
21-6, 21-11. Richardson paired with Shezelle McTyson to win the U19 Girls Doubles over the
team of Stefani-Imani Brown and twelve year old Rhianna Rust 21-14, 21-16. Richardson
then partnered with the other triple winner, Mickhail Williams to win the U19 Mixed Doubles
21-13, 21-8 over the team of Adam Taylor and Breanna Bisnott. Williams then partnered
with Adam Taylor to win the U19 Boys Doubles over Matthew Gibbs and Chrissano
Hanna 21-13, 21-8. Mickhail’s third win was the U19 Boys Singles 21-7, 21-12 over Daniel
Edwards.

The Double Winners were twelve year old Rhianna Rust, ten year old Jelani Nelson and
Aundre Brown. Rhianna Rust won the U15 Girls Singles and the U15 Girls Doubles with
partner Destiny Frater. Jelani Nelson won the U11 Boys Singles and teamed with Aundre
Brown to win the U15 Boys Doubles. Aundre Brown’s other win was the U15 Boys Singles.
The NABUCO Age Group Badminton Challenge U13, U17 and Senior Competition begins on
Saturday February 9 at the Constant Sprint Golf Club Badminton Hall @ 9:00am.
